Why Working with a Curly Hair Stylist in NYC Matters

Not all hairstylists are trained to handle curls. Curls have texture, personality, and their own set of rules.

Here’s why choosing the right stylist matters:

Regular salons often treat curly hair like straight hair—a big mistake.
Curl-specific stylists know how to shape, trim, and style curls properly.
The right products and techniques can change your entire hair game.
You save time, money, and stress by working with someone who gets it.

When you work with a Curly Hair Stylist in NYC, like the team at HeelsnBoots, you’re trusting someone who understands every curl, coil, and wave.

Real Tips for Curly Hair That Actually Work

Want to keep your curls looking fresh between appointments? Here are a few pro tips from your new favorite Curly Hair Stylist in NYC:

Don’t brush your curls dry—ever. Use a wide-tooth comb in the shower.
Sleep on a satin pillowcase to reduce frizz.
Try “plopping” with a T-shirt to dry your hair gently.
Use a diffuser when blow-drying, or air dry for best shape.
Get regular trims to avoid split ends and keep shape.
